The Investment and Trade Promotion Centre of Ho Chi Minh City (ITPC) & Vietnam International Arbitration Centre (VIAC) are organising the Investment Legal Support Forum 2023, with the topic “Open up golden opportunities for investors in Ho Chi Minh City in implementing the Resolution 98/2023/QH15” on 12 December 2023 at Grand Saigon Hotel, 08 Dong Khoi, Ben Nghe ward, Ho Chi Minh City.

On 1st August 2023, Resolution No.98/2023/QH15 on piloting implementation of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City (hereinafter referred to as “Resolution 98/2023/QH15”) officially came into force, created the expectation of improvement and notable changes in the City’s economy. Regarding encouraging investment, Resolution 98 shows a breakthrough when having a new set of regulations that exert such significant influence on investors, especially regulations of investing in the form of public-private partnership (PPP) and attracting strategic investors to “green” projects.

On that basis, the Investment Legal Support Forum 2023, with the topic “Open up golden opportunities for investors in Ho Chi Minh City in implementing the Resolution 98/2023/QH15”, will focus on clarifying the advantages and disadvantages of applying the new policy which has many differences from current legal framework.
