Food industry product exhibition week 2023

Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC) collaborates with Food and Foodstuff Association HCMC (FFA) to conduct the program “Food industry product exhibition week 2023” in order to encourage development and help Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) enterprises and members of Vietnam Exporters Association (VEXA) operating in the food sector in displaying and introducing excellent products with the goal of finding local and export partners.
Time: from December 19, 2023 to December 25, 2023 (7 days).
Venue: Export Showroom No. 92-96 Nguyen Hue, Ben Nghe Ward, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.
Number of exhibits: Expected to be around 100 exhibitors (due to the limited exhibition space, the Organizing Committee is the unit in charge of selecting and deciding on the list of participating enterprises).
Main product groups participating in the exhibition include: Food and foodstuffs, agricultural products, beverages, packaged and processed products such as: tea, coffee, spices, confectionery, canned/packaged dried seafood, packaged dried agricultural products, rice, vegetables, tubers, berries, fruits... Priority will be given to organic products, OCOP, Halal-certified products, gift basket combos for the upcoming Tet.
Participation fee: Free for enterprises selected to exhibit.
General requirements for products participating in the program:
1. Requirements:
- Products participating in the program must be Vietnamese products with a business registration license and quality inspection certificates for qualified products. Products must have attractive labels and packaging, clear origin information, and ingredients that comply with regulations (enterprises holding the following certificates will be given priority: HALAL, OCOP, VIETGAP, GLOBAL GAP, HACCP, etc.).
- City enterprises (i.e., those with a production address and business license in Ho Chi Minh City) are given priority over other participating enterprises in the exhibition.
- Participating enterprises in the food industry have diverse display products, gift basket combos for the Lunar New Year (Tet holiday) season... Export standards need to be met by high-quality display products, which should have elegant packaging and emblematic imagery for the enterprise brand.
2. Criteria:
- Safe, new products, regional characteristics - traditions that meet export standards. The packaging has the company logo and specific prices listed on each product.
- Enterprises take part in the exhibition of Vietnamese-brand goods, ensuring compliance with all relevant legal restrictions on the products and the industry.
- Displaying products that have obtained quality inspection certificates.
- Product packaging and labels that are visually appealing; information about the product’s ingredients and place of origin must be precise and compliant with legal requirements.
- Priority is given to enterprises with the following certifications: HALAL, OCOP, VietGAP, GLOBAL GAP, HACCP
- Enterprises need to make a commitment to product display and proactive warehousing in order to keep items during the show.
