Vietnam International Sourcing 2023 opens in HCMC

Vietnam International Sourcing 2023, a series of events aimed at connecting international supply chains, kicked off in Ho Chi Minh City on September 13.
The three-day event is being organized by the European - American Market Department at the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ho Chi Minh City People’s Committee.
Participants include leading global distributors and retailers such as Aeon, MegaMarket, Walmart, Carrefour, Costco, Decathlon, Coppel, Amazon, Boeing, Google, Uniqlo, AES, Central Group, IKEA, and LuLu. Hundreds of purchasers from 25 countries and territories are also involved.
A series of activities, including conferences and trade exchange programs, will be held on the sidelines.
Addressing the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Do Thang Hai said events, including Export Forum 2023, workshops, business matching activities, and the Vietnam International Sourcing Expo, are aimed at helping enterprises engage more deeply in global production and supply chains and adapt to the growing trend of international economic integration.
