Following the directive of Vice Chairman Vo Van Hoan of the City People’s Committee on organizing the City leadership delegation to visit and work in Korea and Japan. In order to strengthen and develop cooperative relations between Ho Chi Minh City and the key localities of Korea and Japan, contributing to improving the effectiveness of international economic integration efforts, promoting rapid economic development and sustainability, the Investment and Trade Promotion Centre (ITPC) is responsible for coordinating with the HCMC Department of Culture and Sports, the HCMC Department of Tourism, the HCMC Department of Foreign Affairs, the HCMC Department of Industry and Trade, and other relevant departments to organise a series of trade, investment, and tourism promotion activities and the event “Ho Chi Minh City Day in Osaka, Japan” within the framework

Main activities:

+ Facilitating trading connections between Korean distributors and importers and businesses in Ho Chi Minh City.

+ Discussing about Japanese market information and consumer preferences for certain products with the Vietnamese Embassy and Trade Office in Japan.

+ Organizing the “Ho Chi Minh City Day in Osaka, Japan” event and establish trade relations with import and distribution companies in Japan,

Schedule 1: The business delegation accompanied the City leadership delegation to visit and work in Korea and Japan (May 11-19, 2024).

Schedule 2: A business delegation attends “Ho Chi Minh City Day in Osaka, Japan” as well as trade, investment, and tourism promotion activities in Japan (May 15–May 20, 2024).

 Participation costs:

- Costs associated with showing, advertising, connecting trade, attending forums, and so on will be fully covered by the organizers for participating businesses..

- Enterprises pay their own human resource expenses, such as immigration, flight tickets, meals, lodging, travel, and interpretation; and costs associated with goods, such as taxes, shipping fees, etc.
