AmCham Vietnam has new chairman
The American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam said Wednesday that Greg Testerman, CEO of banking advisory firm Gregory Advisory, has been elected its chairman.
He replaces Winnie Wong, country manager of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia for Mastercard.
AmCham Vietnam is one of the largest business organizations in Vietnam with over 650 corporate members and 2,500 business representatives.
Testerman is an investment banker who has held senior management positions at JP Morgan and Banco Santander, with specialization in international capital markets, trade finance and governance in the financial sector.
An ability to adapt effectively to diverse cultural environments is a defining feature of his career, according to AmCham Vietnam.
Testerman lived in New York, Antwerp, Brussels, London, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Miami, Panama, and Mexico before moving to HCMC in 2014 and launching advisory firm Gregory Advisory targeting emerging market banks.
